3 Storage
Once conditioned, the practical storage of the hydrogen can be implemented to stage the molecules for further distribution or delivery to a use application. Industrial storage can be by compressed gas cylinders or by cryogenic pressure vessels. The mass storage of hydrogen as a gas at very low pressures can be achieved with underground caverns.
Industrial storage
Gaseous storage in small quantities can be accomplished with single walled gas cylinders
Mass storage
Underground hydrogen storage is the practice of hydrogen storage in caverns salt domes or depleted oil/gas fields.
